3rd GCC Supreme Council Summit - 50 fils
In November 1982 (Muharram 1403 AH), Manama hosted the Third Regular Session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC / مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية), following the organization's founding in Abu Dhabi in 1981. Bringing together the heads of state of the six Arabian Gulf nations—Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman—the summit focused on establishing regional economic integration, joint defense agreements, and coordinated development strategies during a critical geopolitical period in the Gulf.
